 Schedule:
 There are two options for Lighthouse Youth Ministry:
o Sunday services at 9am&11am
 During Sunday services, youth will be released to go to the youth lounge in the
back of the social hall for a devotional lesson after the beginning worship set in
the sanctuary.

o Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm
 Lighthouse youth group begins at 6:30pm, but teens begin showing up around
6pm. Leaders are encouraged to do so also.

 Objective:
o Be a positive Christian influence in our teen’s lives.
o Be engaged with the teens and ready to support the youth leader as fits the situation.
o Be available to offer light counsel and encouragement as the teens grow to trust and
value your advice.
o Be ready and available to help to gently focus the teens and deescalate any tensions
that may arise.

o Willingness to assist in any object lessons, games, activities, or setup/cleanup on an
average youth night.
 Commitment Level: Consistent
o Our teens benefit greatly from a stable and consistent influence in their lives.
o We recognize that things come up and you may not be able to make every meeting, but
ample heads up for when you cannot is greatly appreciated.
o We will not ask more of you than you’re willing to offer, but we do ask that you honor
your commitment. Ministering to our teens is a team effort and teams need to be able to
count on each other’s support.
o There may be occasional planning meetings apart from the average youth night should
you be interested in helping with them as well.
o There are frequent events and field trips you will be invited to help plan and chaperone
as well.
