Have you ever heard anyone say “All the Church wants is my money”?   Paul didn’t have any problems asking people to contribute…but here’s why:

The church wanted to know IF and HOW they would be raised from the dead.   Apparently there were people teaching different things.  Here’s what Paul said to straighten them out:

The most common question about spiritual gifts is generally “what about speaking in tongues?”  Here’s what Paul has to say about that:

The passage is so well known, and the subject is so interesting to us that many books have been written on the subject, and countless sermons have been preached on the topic.    Let’s quickly recap what Paul is saying about gifts, and see if there is anything we can apply to our own lives from it.
