About

We are Youngsville FMC

We would love to welcome you in person!

At Youngsville FMC, we are always looking for what the Spirit of God is doing in the time and season we’re living in. We want to partner with Him in making the gospel message readily available to all who will come to hear. We are blessed to have many avenues of ministry into the community, and within the church building itself, and so many committed individuals that make that ministry possible.

It is our pleasure to invite you into the blessing of experiencing an ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ with us as we co-labor with Him to see His Kingdom work done in our community!

The Way We Pursue God

Mission & Vision

“Inviting Everyone to Experience a Relationship with Jesus Christ”

No one should ever settle for a good church experience. At Youngsville FMC, we strive to prioritize our relationship with Jesus in everything we do. Whether through Sunday morning worship, Wednesday night community meals, VBS, small groups, or our everyday personal lives; all that we do
is for the sake of experiencing a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our absolute joy to invite anyone along the journey with us that is willing to join in our pursuit of His Kingdom and His righteousness! (Matthew 6:33; Colossians 3:17; Philippians 2:1-2)

We exist to host a place of encounter for anyone who desires to experience and grow in relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We seek to identify, equip, and resource disciples to go out and multiply Kingdom impact through the teaching and demonstration of the gospel.

Worship:

Humanity is built to worship. We choose to pour all of ours out to God, Who is truly the only one worthy of it! While we place great emphasis on Sunday morning musical worship times, we also believe that true worship extends into every area and avenue of the life we’ve been given. We actively seek to be Presence led in the way that we worship. – John 4:24 – God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.

Service:

Living in relationship with Jesus naturally produces a life of service. At YFMC, we are an active body. We are always on the lookout for how we can co-labor with Jesus to serve both each other as believers, and those outside the church that are in need. – Mark 10:45 – For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Community:

We are not only an active faith community, but we are also a hub of activity for the community we live in. While our focus is on the spiritual health of those who believe in the Lord Jesus, we also seek opportunity to do good and be available to those in our community who do not yet have a relationship with the Lord. – Galatians 6:10 – So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Evangelism:

As a church community, we pray every day at 10:02 that God would raise up workers for the harvest according to Luke 10:2. The Lord commands that we go into all the world, preach the gospel, and make disciples. So, we pray that He raise up more workers to continue to reach out to the world around us with the gospel. – Luke 10:2 – And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

Biblical Authority / Bible Teaching:

We believe that the Bible is the final authority on all the issues of life. If our lives don’t line up with Scriptural revelation, then we are in need of repentance! We whole-heartedly submit every thought and deed to the counsel of Scripture and strive to preach and teach only what is in agreement with the pure gospel of Jesus Christ as it has been revealed to us through the Bible. – Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Prayer:

God answers the prayers of His people, and we can do nothing of any value without His direction. We strive to be people who keep an active prayer life where we not only pour our hearts out to Him but listen to His heart and act accordingly. Prayer is the means by which all of heaven’s business is accomplished on earth. – Colossians 4:2 – Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;

Stewardship:

Everything we have is a gift from God. We want to be sure to use all that He’s given us to honor and glorify Him. Whatever resources we have been given are not just for us, but for those that the Lord desires to reach out to. – 1 Peter 4:10 – As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God.
